When you buy on credit (PPD), your supplier must issue a payment complement every time you pay them, no later than the 5th of the following month. If they don't, the SAT can disallow your deduction or your creditable VAT. Nobody chases it: the gap shows up when the accountant is already closing the VAT return.
The final tax decision always rests with your accountant. VAT at Risk detects, quantifies and follows up.
